Metric Tile was established in 1979 in a small, single warehouse in Osborne Ave Clayton South to supply local, Italian and Spanish tiles to the public.The company soon outgrew the storage space in Osborne Ave and relocated to Westall road Springvale were it occupies a 6000m2 warehouse and a 700m2 showroom.
Metric Tile started supplying to Retail Customers and the trade. As the range of tiles from overseas and local suppliers grew, the company started to sell to local retail outlets. The word quickly got around about the range and diversity on offer at Metric Tile.
